Keeper of the Quaich, Keith Bonnington, leaning on his 20 years in the Whisky industry, started The Whisky Cellars in 2020 from his home in Edinburgh, Scotland. After a long and successful career, culminating in a senior position for Edrington based in Africa, Keith took a leap of faith to move back to his beloved Edinburgh and begin 'The Whisky Cellar'.

Keith utilises his black book of industry colleagues to help as a tasting panel to select only truly exceptional casks for bottling in the Whisky Cellar package. Keith strives to bring to market extremely high-quality one-off whiskies which represent good value to the consumer.

In 2022 Keith took the bold move of reviving an old lost label - Pintail to release whiskies finished in sweet ex-wine casks.

Each release from The Whisky Cellar focuses on bottling only the best and most complex Scotch Whisky that Keith can source, at any age, from any distillery.
