Ardnamurchan Distillery is located in the stunning and very remote Ardnumurchan peninsula on the west coast of Scotland. Founded in 2014 by the Independent Bottlers, Adelphi Selection. Ardnamurchan are passionate about traceability of their whiskies, and claim to be the 'greenest' distillery in Scotland. 

All power for the distillery comes from local renewable facilities, such as a hydro-power plant from the same river that provides their cooling water. The distillery boasts a biomass boiler, fuelled by locally sourced woodchips. 

Ardnamurchan produce both peated and unpeated spirit from their relatively small distillery setup. The single wash still is 10,000 litres in capacity and the spirit still is 6,000 litres, enabling production around the 500,000 litres per annum.

The Ardnamurchan AD/ Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the distilleries core release, with characters of orchard fruit, tobacco and a coastal note. A brilliant example of a west coast Highland Whisky.

The distillery, through their connections with Adelphi also produce the Maclean's Nose Blended Whisky. Maclean's Nose was the Winner of the World Whisky Awards 2023 Non-age statement Blended Scotch whisky Category!
