Cooper's Choice Whisky

Cooper's Choice Whisky was created in the mid 1990's by the Family owned The Vintage Malt Whisky Company. Founded in 1992 by the ex-export manager of Auchentoshan followed by Bowmore Distilleries, Brian Crook. His aim was to produce a range of malt whiskies from his country’s finest distilleries and make them available to independent wine and spirit importers throughout the world. Now the Vintage Malt Whisky Company is certainly a family-run business with Andrew Crook (Brian's Son) taking on the mantle as Managing Director.

In 2024 Select Scotch Whisky teamed up with Cooper's Choice to create a special whisky just for the Australian Market. The Cooper's Choice Campbeltown 2014 10 Year Old was a single cask bottling of a teaspooned Malt sourced from a Campbeltown Distillery. The Malt had a 18 month 'finish' in a first-fill ex-French Muscat cask. This finish added sweet grapey and floral notes, but did not hide the undeniable Campbeltown earthy and coastal character.
