Carn Mor Whisky is the Independent Bottlers business of Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers. The family owners of the Perthshire based Aberargie Distillery, and previous owners of Bowmore, Auchentoshan and Glen Garioch Distilleries. The family bring their exceptional experience to ensure they bottle whiskies only of the highest quality. 

The Morrison family have been in the industry since the 18th century. In that time they have experience in every facet. From grocers, to blenders and brokers and of course distillers. MSWD is solely owned and operated by one of Scotland’s oldest and most prominent whisky families, Jamie and Brian Morrison. It marks the Morrison family’s return to distilling since Brian Morrison sold Morrison Bowmore Distillers, after nearly 25 years.

The families long history involved with whisky ensures they are exceptionally well placed to access a wide variety of unique and exceptional casks from pedigree distilleris across Scotland. 

The Carn Mor range of bottlings includes: 

The Strictly Limited range of Whiskies, typically a vatting of 3-5 casks, bottled at 47.5% ABV without chill filtration or colour additions. Each of these releases highlight the strength of MSWD as Independent Bottlers of quality casks at great value.

The Celebration of the Cask range of Whiskies. Single cask bottlings of exceptionally rare and mature single malt whiskies, with no chill filtration or colour additions at natural cask strength.

The Family Reserve range of whiskies. Single cask bottlings of rare and highly sought after casks of particular pedigree, sourced directly from the Morrisons extensive family cask holdings.
