The Yamazaki 12 Year Old Single Malt Japanese Whisky

 Yamazaki is Japans first and oldest malt distillery, established in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii. The Yamazki 12 year old single malt Japanese whisky is made from 100% malted barley distilled in copper pot stills and aged in casks of three different kinds of oaks: American, Spanish and Japanese (Mizunara).

A brilliant example of the complexity and balance that Japanese malt whiskies are so sought after for.

Nose: Peach, pineapple, grapefruit, clove, candied orange, vanilla, Mizunara oak

Palate: Coconut, cranberry, butter

Finish: Sweet ginger, cinnamon, long finish
