Beginning with the incredibly popular 16 Year Old 'Flora and Fauna' release, whisky lovers globally stood up and paid attention. In recent years Diageo made the call to develop Distillery Labels from Mortlach which, while very popular, are clearly priced at the upper end of the market.
This 8 Year Old Mortlach Single Cask Release (Speyside region) was distilled in February 2011 and matured for 8 years in a single refill hogshead before being bottled by the team at Douglas Laing and Co.
