The Old Perth Whisky range comes from one of Scotland's oldest Whisky families; previous owners of Bowmore, Auchentoshan and Glen Garioch; the Morrison Family.
Old Perth whisky was a lost blend that was originally created by the fiercely proud Perthshire family, the Thomsons. It was the family’s blender, Peter Thomson who originally produced the 'Old Perth' blend. In homage to Peter every box of Old Perth carries his family’s name.
One of Scotland’s oldest whisky families, the Morrisons (formerly of Morrison Bowmore Distillers), purchased the Old Perth brand and brought the legacy back to life for all to enjoy.
The Old Perth Double Sherry Wood Blended Malt Scotch Whisky joined the core lineup of Old Perth Whiskies in September 2024, with it's balance of malt whiskies matured in ex-Oloroso and Pedro Ximinez sherry casks its a most welcome addition!
