Thompson Bros Late Bottled Brandy 1993 27 Year Old

The Thompson Brothers, namely Phil & Simon produce their own whisky and gin at Dornoch Castle Hotel.  Thompson Bros Dornoch Distillery was founded following a successful initial crowdfunding round in 2016 which saw 250 whisky lovers from all over the world eagerly put their hands in their pockets to secure hotly anticipated casks of new make spirit from Dornoch Distillery. Success bred success as the Thompson Bros business flourished, and indeed continues to do so with their impeccable palate for quality, and eye for an appealing label.

This independently bottled Brandy was distilled in France in 1993 and bottled in Scotland at 27 years old. Only 409 bottles for worldwide distribution were produced.

Expect toasted walnuts, with touches of cinnamon leading into lots of dried fruit and cooked plums.
