Douglas Laing's Old Particular Deanston 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky

Douglas Laing and Co's Old Particular range of Scotch Whisky consist of unique bottlings of hand selected Single Cask Scotch Whisky, bottled without colouring or chill filtering and at higher ABV's, just as the distiller intended..

Deanston Distillery is found in the Highlands scotch whisky region, and is owned by Distell. This bottling of Deanston 12 year old Scotch Whisky was produced using organic certified barley and was distilled in August 2010 and matured in a single refill hogshead before bottling in May of 2023.

Notes from the bottler: "Nose: Coconut cream mingles with damp, spiced oak, Malt and oat biscuits. Palate: Lemon meringue pie with a sweet, sugary style plus juicy barley. Finish: Long - a citric tang is balanced with home-baking and milk chocolate sweetness" (CSL).

The cask outturn was 313 bottles, and is bottled at 48.4% ABV.
