Carn Mor Strictly Limited Dailuaine 9 Year Old 2012 Scotch Whisky

The Carn Mor Strictly Limited range of Scotch Whisky from the Family-owned Independent Bottlers, Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, are a collection of Scotch whiskies from some of the finest distilleries in Scotland. What makes the whiskies so special is that all the whiskies are non-chill-filtered to keep all of the oils and proteins that give it that fantastic authentic and non-doctored flavour in the bottle. This 9 year-old scotch whisky was distilled in 2012 at the Speyside Dailuaine distillery. The whisky was fully matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. Prior to bottling the whisky was proofed back to 47.5% ABV, with no chill-filtration or colour added. 1013 bottles were produced.

The nose is bright orchard fruits with citrus peels, varnish and vanilla notes. An oily palate screams 'Dailuaine Whisky', with more orchard fruits (ripe yellow peaches) and orange rind, along gentle nutmeg spice and vanilla. A long warming finish with fruits lasting
