Corowa Characters Australian Whisky celebrates the people behind the whisky made here by Corowa Distilling. A very approachable, single malt, wine cask Australian whisky that exhibits floral characters with honeycomb sweetness on the nose. The palate indicates the combination of French and American Oak influences and the sweetness follows through with good spirit integration.

The palate shows toasted oak character (from cask re-charring perhaps). Sultanas and a hint of cinnamon spice is followed by stewed plum and fruit mince pie flavours. Medium-ish finish offers hints of raisins.

A very interesting young Australian malt whisky, at a great price for an Aussie release.
