Miltonduff 2014/9 year old Carn Mor Strictly Limited Scotch Whisky

The Carn Mor Strictly Limited range of Scotch Whisky from the Family-owned Independent Bottlers, Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, are a collection of Scotch whiskies from some of the finest distilleries in Scotland. What makes the whiskies so special is that all the whiskies are non-chill-filtered to keep all of the oils and proteins that give it that fantastic authentic and non-doctored flavour in the bottle. As real as it gets.

This 9 year-old scotch whisky was distilled in 2014 at the Speyside Miltonduff distillery. The whisky was fully matured in a ex-PX sherry butts. Prior to bottling the whisky was proofed back to 47.5% ABV, with no chill-filtration or colour added. 1200 bottles were produced.

Simon's notes: The nose is animated with notes of raisins, apple pie and apricot. The palate shows a more-ish rich sweet fruity character. Raisins and dark prunes with cinnnamon spice. The texture is silky adding complexity and depth to the long finish.
