The Cooper's Choice range of single cask whiskies from Scotland's finest distilleries are releases from the Family owned Independent Bottlers; The Vintage Malt Whisky Company. The range is a homage to the passion and skill of the Coopers, the craftsmen, who build the barrels for maturation of Scotch Whisky. The range focuses on the impact of maturation in oak, and includes several obscure and rare wood finishes.
This single grain scotch whisky was distilled in 1992 at the Cameronbridge distillery in Fife Scotland, spending 28 years maturing in an ex-bourbon cask. Cameronbridge is both the oldest and the largest grain distillery in Scotland. Only 288 bottles from the Cask.
One for fans of Vanilla custard and butter cookies. The whisky has plentiful oaky spices, shortbread, pastry and vanilla sponge. Bourbon notes with a touch of citrus.
Bottled at Cask strength of 48.5%.
