Knockdhu labelled releases are not seen around much these days. The Distillery releases are now labeled AnCnoc (to avoid confusion with Knockando whiskies). The name Knockdhu relates to the distilleries location in the very picturesque town (or dare I say sleepy village) of Knock in the Highland Sub-region (just east of the Speyside delineation).

This small batch, cask strength release of Scotch whisky from the chaps at Cadenhead (owners of Springbank distillery in Campbelltown) will become a part of whisky history, as the powers that be at Cadenhead have decided to discontinue their small batch range.

Of this Whisky the Cadenhead notes read, "Nose: Tea leaves, raspberry ice cream and slight flint notes. Flavour: Peppery watercress, dried earthiness, biscotti. Finish: Cardamom seeds, peach stones. Very moreish."

700mL, 54.7% ABV
