The Whisky Cellar is an Edinburgh-based independent Scotch Whisky bottler, selecting casks from its private stock at the peak of their character. Founded by Keeper of the Quaich, Keith Bonnington, Keith searches far and wide for casks showing exceptional complexity of flavour and length on the palate.

This single cask bottling of BenRiach was distilled in December 1997, matured in an American ex-Bourbon cask then a long 4 year finish in a golden rum cask. Bottled in August 2020.

Expect notes of grilled pineapple, caramelised Demerara sugar, vanilla and ripe apricot. Not too 'rummy', with grasses, lemon and lime, and fruity banana notes, finishing extremely long. 

Bottled at Cask Strength with no chill filtration. 

700ml. 57.1% ABV.
