Strathmill 15 Year Old Oloroso Finished Whisky Cellar Scotch Whisky

This exceptionally refined bottling of a single cask of 15 Year Old Strathmill had an moderate finish in a single ex-Oloroso Sherry Cask. The resultant whisky is surprisingly still malt forward (as opposed to cask), with ripe orchard fruits, sweet red apples, poached pears with a ginger cake quality. The cask has brought notes of all spice, milk chocolate and toasted oak. Overall a supremely impressive dram!

The cask turned out 283 bottles, of which 30 have made the journey Downunder.

Bottled at cask strength of 56.9% ABV.
