Strathmill 22 Year Old Whisky Cellar Scotch Whisky

The Whisky Cellar is an Edinburgh-based independent Scotch Whisky bottler, selecting casks from its private stock at the peak of their character. Founded by Keeper of the Quaich, Keith Bonnington, Keith searches far and wide for casks showing exceptional complexity of flavour and length on the palate.

A special and rare bottling of a 22 Year Old single cask of Strathmill Scotch Whisky. We're assuming this cask was a 'leaker' given the measly 48 bottles from the cask, and count ourselves blessed to secure 6 bottles for Australia. 

An exceptionally dark colour for a refill-bourbon cask suggests perhaps a significant re-char? 

Expect notes of white chocolate cookies, ripe tropical fruits, dark honey, macadamia nuts, creamy mocha and oaky spices.

Bottled at cask strength of 46.5% ABV.
