From the Isle of Arran Distillers (one of a tiny number of truly independent distillers in Scotland), this NAS release (in the new(ish) packaging) Single Malt Scotch Whisky was produced using traditional methods employing wooden washbacks and copper stills. The whisky has not been chill filtered.

The Arran Quarter Cask 'The Bothy' Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a complex, rich and intensely fruity Single Malt, a cask strength delight. After an initial maturation in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks, the whisky was transferred to smaller Quarter casks for a finishing period, increasing the contact between whisky and Oak, resulting in a faster and more intense maturation. 

This Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a full-bodied expression of the Arran Whisky, combining power and finesse in a whisky full of rich vanilla sweetness and bold peppery spice. Bottled at natural cask strength with no chill-filtration or colour additions; a whisky as close to drinking straight from the cask as possible. 

56.2% ABV, 700mL.
