Cambus 33 Year Old 1988 Whisky Cellar Scotch Whisky

The Whisky Cellar is an Edinburgh-based independent Scotch Whisky bottler, selecting casks from its private stock at the peak of their character. Founded by Keeper of the Quaich, Keith Bonnington, Keith searches far and wide for casks showing exceptional complexity of flavour and length on the palate.

“Unconstrained by age or statement of vintage, regionality or cask type…if our tasting panel love the whisky enough, we will bottle it.”  - Keith Bonnington, Founder.

This 33 year old grain whisky from the now closed Lowland Cambus distillery was distilled in September 1988 and matured in a two American Oak hogsheads before bottling in February 2022 by The Whisky Cellars in their series 4 releases for the Private Cellars Selection.

This whisky, distilled at Cambus Distillery and a vatting of two American Oak hogsheads, displays notes of soft buttery pancakes, vanilla pastries, sweet green apples, ginger spice and brown sugar.

Bottled at Cask Strength with no chill filtration. Only 498 bottles produced from the casks.

700ml. 42.5% ABV.
