XOP Tormore 30 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

A 30 year old single malt from the Tormore distillery in Scotland's Speyside region, bottled for the Xtra Old Particular range by Douglas Laing. The whisky was matured from November 1992 to March 2023 in a refill hogshead, and then bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 276 bottles.

Official tasting note: The nose is attractively round and full of buttered burnt toast and milky cereal hues. On the palate detect butterscotch, malt appealing spices and gentle lemon citric tones. That big malt impact is still there on the finish, plus Bourbon-based vanilla flavours (FHL).
