North Star Spirits are a Glasgow based independent bottler priding themselves on bottling only the finest Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky and Blended Scotch Whiskies. North Star specialise in artisan single cask whisky from all of Scotlands great Whisky regions. All North Star releases are small batch with no chill filtration and bottled at cask strength.
This single cask bottling of 8 year old Glenallachie was bottled in May 2017 for the 2nd series release from North Star. The malt was matured in a single Sherry butt producing a measly 324 bottles.
Expect toffee with spice and fruit cake.
