Gordon & Macphail have been leading the Indie Whisky scene since 1915. The G&M 'Distillery Labels' bottlings are a celebration of their long established partnerships with some of Scotlands highest regarded distilleries.

This release is matured for 15 years in a mix of first fill & refill Sherry casks, creating a malt with a distinctly malty nose, accompanied by fresh aromas of a woodland hedgerow, delicate sherried notes weaved through rich indulgent toffee, sweet liquorice and orange marmalade.

The palate recalls black forest cake with an initial sweetness developing into fruit driven blackcurrant jam, maraschino cherries with creamy vanilla icecream. Fresh peeled orange notes add a bright lift.

The finish is well rounded, with hints of candied citrus fruits and toasty oak complementing the lingering malt.
