The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak Scotch Whisky

The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 year old Scotch Whisky is matured exclusively in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez. These special casks add great richness, complexity and colour to the maturing spirit. At the Macallan, once cask are filled the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in those same casks - in this instance - for 12 years. Once drawn from the barrel the resulting product is a rich and complex whisky characterised by spice and dried fruit and a natural rich golden colour.
