Longmorn 11 Year Old 2011 Whisky Cellar Scotch Whisky

The Whisky Cellar is an Edinburgh-based independent Scotch Whisky bottler, selecting casks from its private stock at the peak of their character. Founded by Keeper of the Quaich, Keith Bonnington, Keith searches far and wide for casks showing exceptional complexity of flavour and length on the palate.

This 11 year old whisky from the Speyside Longmorn distillery was distilled in April 2011 and matured in a single refill cask before a 12 month finish in an ex-Sauternes wine cask, then a second 6 month finish in a first-fill ex-Oloroso Sherry cask prior to bottling in June 2022 by The Whisky Cellars in their series 5 releases for the Private Cellars Selection. 

Expect notes of blackcurrant jam, brown sugar, ripe pear, creamy toffee and soft stone fruits.

Bottled at Cask Strength with no chill filtration. Only 295 bottles produced from the casks.
