The Whisky Cellar Glentauchers 12 Year Old Scotch Malt Whisky

The Whisky Cellar is an Edinburgh-based independent Scotch Whisky bottler, selecting casks from its private stock at the peak of their character. Founded by Keeper of the Quaich, Keith Bonnington, Keith searches far and wide for casks showing exceptional complexity of flavour and length on the palate.

The Whisky Cellar Glentauchers 2011 12 Year Old single malt scotch whisky is a single cask bottling of cask#406; a fully matured first fill ex-Bourbon barrel, bottled for the series 7 out-turn from Edinburgh based Independent Bottler, The Whisky Cellar. This is classic 'Tauchers' at it's best.

Expect notes of barley sugar, creamy malt, fresh lemon zest, spicy oak, ripe pear and salted butter on brioche.

The cask produced 230 bottles (with 24 coming to Australia) at a natural cask strength of 56.4% ABV.
