Dailuaine 12 Year Old 2010 Old Particular Scotch Whisky

The Old Particular range from Douglas Laing represent bottlings of 'particularly' highly sought after casks from across Scotland. Bottled with no-chill filtration or colour additions at higher ABV's.

From the Dailuaine Distillery comes this delectable malt Scotch Whisky from a single cask (cask ref DL16714). The unpeated Dailuaine spirit was distilled in 2010 and left in a single sherry butt for more than 12 years, until Douglas Laing bottled it for their Old Particular Asia Pacific Friendship series, with an outturn of 300 bottles. A wonderfully intense and rich malt sweet fruit cake notes.

"Nose: Rich, sweet and full of treacle toffee, spiced summer fruit and home baking. Palate: Coates the mouth in oily molasses, spices, burnt fruit cake and later cereal. Finish: The spices are still upfront with sugar, honeycomb and late oak cookies." FHL
