Cadenhead Glentauchers 14 Year Old Scotch whisky

Wm Cadenhead’s Ltd is Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, founded in 1842 but since 1972 they have been based in Campbeltown.

Cadenhead’s specialise in bottling single cask or small batch whisky, gin, rum, cognac, and other spirits from across all of Scotland and the rest of the world.

Cadenhead’s Original Collection Range are curious vattings bottled at 46% ABV.

Glentauchers distillery mainly produces malt for the Ballentine's blends, so it's really up to the Indies to showoff what spectacular whisky the distillery can produce.  Cadenheads, interestingly, here have put together a mix of bourbon firkin casks, and sherry casks to create a complex whisky with great texture.

Official notes read, “This bottling is sweet, light and fruity with notes of pears and peaches accompanying the ice cream with chocolate elements. There are wine notes in this one, with a finish that is both rich and warming.”

700ml. 46% ABV
