Benromach 2014 Cask Strength Batch 03 Scotch Whisky

Benromach are a traditional Speyside distillery owned by a family of whisky-lovers intent on making single malt the right way with true character; Speyside single malt matured exclusively in first-fill casks, with a subtly smoky character. 

All of Benromach casks are hand-filled, individually weighed, stencilled by hand and stowed in their traditional dunnage warehouses. Benromach believe making whisky by hand guarantees genuine character.

Nose: Oily orange peel, melted dark chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Palate: Orange marmalade, red fruit, cocoa, toasted oak, and candied ginger.

Finish: Cooked apple, a wisp of smoke, and dried fruit.
