North Star Spirits are a Glasgow based independent bottler priding themselves on bottling only the finest Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky and Blended Scotch Whiskies. North Star specialise in artisan single cask whisky from all of Scotlands great Whisky regions. All North Star releases are small batch with no chill filtration and bottled at cask strength.

This single cask bottling of 11 year old Williamson (distilled at Laphroaig) was bottled in April 2023 for the 22nd series release from North Star. The malt was bottled from an ex=PX Sherry hogshead cask producing 240 bottles.

Tasting Note:

Nose: Highland toffee and beeswax

Palate: Burnt pain au chocolat in an oil-powered rayburn

Finish: Dry smoke, black coffee and smashed raisin
