North British 28 Year Old 1994 Whisky Cellar Scotch Whisky
The Whisky Cellar is an Edinburgh-based independent Scotch Whisky bottler, selecting casks from its private stock at the peak of their character. Founded by Keeper of the Quaich, Keith Bonnington, Keith searches far and wide for casks showing exceptional complexity of flavour and length on the palate.
This single grain scotch whisky was distilled over 3 decades ago at the North British distillery way back in November 1994! Since then it has snuggled softly into a first-fill ex-Bourbon cask. Only 180 bottles form the cask!
Expect notes of creamy vanilla as only old grain can, with caramel wafers, white chocolate, coconut, lime zest and nutmeg.
Bottled at cask strength of 43.5% ABV.
