Inchgower 13 Year Old 2008 Whisky Cellar Scotch Whisky
The Whisky Cellar is an Edinburgh-based independent Scotch Whisky bottler, selecting casks from its private stock at the peak of their character. Founded by Keeper of the Quaich, Keith Bonnington, Keith searches far and wide for casks showing exceptional complexity of flavour and length on the palate.
“Unconstrained by age or statement of vintage, regionality or cask type…if our tasting panel love the whisky enough, we will bottle it.” - Keith Bonnington, Founder.
This 13 year old whisky from the Speyside Inchgower distillery was distilled in June 2008 and matured in a single refill cask before a finish in an ex-Tawny Port wine cask prior to bottling in February 2022 by The Whisky Cellars in their series 4 releases for the Private Cellars Selection.
Expect notes of hedgerow fruits, raspberry tart, peppery spice and coastal sea breezes.
