Bruichladdich 10 Year Old 2011 Whisky Cellar Scotch Whisky
The Whisky Cellar is an Edinburgh-based independent Scotch Whisky bottler, selecting casks from its private stock at the peak of their character. Founded by Keeper of the Quaich, Keith Bonnington, Keith searches far and wide for casks showing exceptional complexity of flavour and length on the palate.
“Unconstrained by age or statement of vintage, regionality or cask type…if our tasting panel love the whisky enough, we will bottle it.” - Keith Bonnington, Founder.
This 10 year old whisky from the Islay Bruichladdich distillery was distilled in September 2011 and matured in a single ex-Jurancon Vin Doux Naturel wine cask before bottling in February 2022 by The Whisky Cellars in their series 4 releases for the Private Cellars Selection.
This heavily peated whisky, distilled at Bruiichladdich Distillery in teh "Rhinns" style and fully aged in a Jurancon French dessert wine cask, displays notes of smouldering bonfires, freshly cut grass, smoked herbs, honey and sweet ripe fruits.
Bottled at Cask Strength with no chill filtration. Only 325 bottles produced from the cask.
700ml. 58.9% ABV.
