Lagavulin 8 Year Old Scotch Whisky

Lagavulin distillery is found on the south coast of the isle of Islay in the inner Hebrides of Scotland. Distilleries have been on the site for a very long time, with Lagavulin said to be one of the oldest on the isle, although the distillery claims 1816 as their official start date. 

The slow distillation at Lagavulin along with the long ageing process (generally) has said to give Lagavulin an unrivaled intense and full-bodied flavour.

The Lagavulin 8 year old Islay single malt scotch whisky packs a powerful punch of dry bonfire peat smoke, with the palate full of cooking spice balanced with a malt sweetness and a maritime saltiness.
