Glen Keith 1998/26 year old Carn Mor Celebration of the Cask Scotch Whisky

The Carn Mor Celebration of the Cask range of Single Cask Whisky from the family-owned independent bottlers, Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, are a very limited range from distilleries all over Scotland. All the bottles are numbered and once they are gone they cannot be replaced as they are from one-off bottlings from a single cask. The Carn Mor Celebration of the Cask Scotch Whiskies are bottled at cask strength and are all non-chill filtered.

This 26 year-old scotch whisky was distilled in 1998 at the Speyside Glen Keith distillery. The whisky was fully matured in a single ex-Bourbon barrel. This whisky was bottled at the natural cask strength of 55.8% ABV, with no chill-filtration or colour added. 160 bottles were produced.

Simon's notes: An extremely well-balanced scotch whisky with wood spice and orchard fruits intermingling delightfully. Some baking spice and a long finish round out a stunning dram.
