Foursquare 2009 12 Year Old Barbados Single Rum

From the Taiwanese based Independent Bottler of Scotch whisky, 'Whisky Age' comes this single cask bottling of Single Barbados Rum from Foursquare Distillery. Distilled in 2009, and matured in single cask #16  for 12years before bottling in 2021, this limited release was of only 250 bottles.

Expect a load of citrus hard sweets, vanilla sponge and orange peel spiced cake wiht treacle and punchy vanilla from the cask. The finish is silky with bitter tannin playing with the sweet notes. Dried coconut and tropical fruits, overall simply sublime!
