The second release in the limited annual series continues to draw inspiration from The Macallan's deep rooted connection to the natural world. Each release in the collection unveils distinctive packaging that incorporates organic by-products and gives them new life.

This special single malt is inspired by the Ethiopian Arabica bean. Ethiopia is claimed to be the birthplace of coffee as the Arabica bean was the first species of coffee to be cultivated. ​​ 

With a distinct coffee flavour, this whisky exudes notes of espresso, dark chocolate and sweet oak. The intensely flavoured single malt invites you to immerse yourself in a sensory journey through flavour and aroma.

Tasting notes from the Macallan:

COLOUR: Crema

NOSE: Tiramisu, cappuccino, gingerbread, raisins, almonds, sweet oak, vanilla.

PALATE: Espresso, dark chocolate, raisins, tiramisu, blackberry, vanilla, Brazil nut, sweet oak.

FINISH : Long, dark roast coffee, balanced and sweet.

The Macallan distillery is found in the Speyside whisky region in central Scotland, as is arguably the most famous Scotch distillery in the world. Scotch Whisky releases from the Macallan are sought after globally by both drinkers of fine whisky, and collectors alike.
