Pickering's Gin is handcrafted at Summerhall Distillery in Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh; and was the first exclusive gin distillery to be established in Edinburgh in over 150 years, on the site of the Old Royal (dick) School of Veterinary Studies.

The 1947 edition is made precisely to the original Bombay recipe, as it was written won in the final days of colonial India. In true Pickering's style, it is smooth and refreshing but with a decidedly spicy kick.
