The Diamond distillery 16 year old Guyenese Rum by Leith Stillroom (Gleann Mor Spirits) is a single cask release, distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2019 with no chill filtration or colour additions.
On the nose, fruity with red cherries and dates, coconut with ripe bananas and sweet melon; apricots with a hint of coffee beans developing into oak spices. In the mouth, bananas with pineapple rind; molasses and sticky brown sugar; bitter dark chocolate and cinnamon, bursting with dried tropical fruit peels and gently spiced.
