The Cooper's Choice range of single cask whiskies from Scotland's finest distilleries are releases from the Family owned Independent Bottlers; The Vintage Malt Whisky Company. The range is a homage to the passion and skill of the Coopers, the craftsmen, who build the barrels for maturation of Scotch Whisky. The range focuses on the impact of maturation in oak, and includes several obscure and rare wood finishes.

Inchgower distillery, while technically in Speyside, is more known for it's obvious coastal influence than for any other facet. The touch of coastal salinity works brilliantly with darkand rich stewed fruit character, such as in this gem. The finish in an ex-Oloros cask has added plenty of macerated fruit and spice character that the salinity really sets off! 

Nose:  Big sherry notes with dried orange peel, tobacco and salted caramels

Palate: Stewed fruits and with raisins, coffee and orange peel. Old polished furniture

Finish: Long lasting with a gentle smoke
