Glentauchers 11 Year Old Scotch Whisky

The Carn Mor Strictly Limited range of Scotch Whisky from the Family-owned Independent Bottlers, Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, are a collection of Scotch whiskies from some of the finest distilleries in Scotland. What makes the whiskies so special is that all the whiskies are non-chill-filtered to keep all of the oils and proteins that give it that fantastic authentic and non-doctored flavour in the bottle. This 11 year old scotch whisky was distilled in 2011 at the Speyside Glentauchers distillery before maturing in select ex-Amontillado sherry casks for 11 years. Prior to bottling the whisky was vatted and proofed back to 47.5%ABV, with no chill-filtration or colour added. 1496 bottles were produced.

Expect a whisky full-on nutty character, or almond cookies and an apricot-y fruitfulness. The texture is silky and rich, giving stunning length.
