Douglas Laing and Co launched the 'Private Stock' series of exceptional single cask releases in 2018 to coincide with celebrations for their 70th birthday.  The out-turns are typically miniscule, and are sold only through the Douglas Laing and Co retail website. The whiskies chosen for the 'Private Stock' releases are absolutely the finest barrels with significiant age statements, chosen from the deepest recesses of the Douglas Laing warehouses.

This 'Private Stock' Bunnahabhain 30 year old single cask scotch whisky was charged from one Single Cask, personally selected by Fred Laing (Douglas Laing's Chairman). Bottled directly from the Douglas Laing family personal Whisky collection and offered proudly at a natural Cask Strength of 43.6% ABV, it is presented exactly as the Distiller intended: Without added colour or chill-filtration, and at natural cask strength of 43.6%. Each bottle is hand-signed by Fred Laing.

NOSE: Subtly aromatic in the style of a wooden box of Autumnal fruit, plus juicy barley

PALATE: Anticipate a gentle fix of sparkling apple juice, complemented by molasses and fresh ginger

FINISH: Spices and Malt dominate the mid-length, delicately gristy finish
