The Whisky Blues Bunnahabhain 1989 31 Year Old Scotch Whisky

The Whisky Blues is a second label of the Taiwanese based Independent Bottler of Scotch whisky, 'Whisky Age'.  The Whisky Blues label came about in 2018, so is still a relative new comer in the Indie space.

This small batch release of Bunnahabhain 1989 31 year old single malt Scotch whisky is a vatting of 2 casks (#5759 & 5770), producing only 265 bottles, is the 17th release in the Whisky Blues label.. 

Expect an animated and lively nose of sweet citrus, apply, syrup and nuts with touches of salted island breeze. The palate is smooth, with a peat smoke at the front followed by developed tropical fruits, nectar butter, malt and spices. The finish is medium long, with more of the same , ending with cedar wood, nutmeg and pepper balanced with lingering fruit sweetness.
