Tomatin 15 Year Old 2008 Old Particular Scotch Whisky

Since 1948 Douglas Laing and Co have been trailblazers in the Independent Bottling scene. Innovators in packaging and liquid, never afraid to bottle casks of unique and distinct character. The Old Particular range from Douglas Laing represent bottlings of 'particularly' highly sought after casks from across Scotland. Bottled with no-chill filtration or colour additions at higher ABV's.

From the Tomatin Distillery found in the central Highland region comes this delectable malt Scotch Whisky from a single cask (cask ref DL18489). The unpeated whisky was distilled in 2008 and left in a single refill hogshead for more than 15 years, until Douglas Laing bottled it for their Old Particular series, with an outturn of 354bottles. A wonderfully malty and sweet whisky, with plenty of dry spice.

"Nose: Blonde, but kicking with early dulcet maple syrup, milky breakfast cereal and gentle spices. Palate: Mouth-coats sweetly with caster sugar, candy floss and more spice ahead of the barley. Finish: More early spun sugar, with what become drier spices, amongst intriguing late vanilla." FHL

700mL. 48.4% VOL. From a single cask of 354 bottles.
