The Glenturret Triple Wood 2023 Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Glenturret claim to be Scotlands Oldest Distillery. Time muddies water of course, particularly when marketers are splashing around. Who was first is irrelevant to what tastes the best, and certainly the last 15-20 years at The Glenturret has seen a marked increase in quality of production.

The Glenturret 2023 release Triple Wood scotch whisky is matured in American and European oak sherry seasoned casks alongside Bourbon barrels. The three different cask styles have been thoughtfully combined to create a whisky with an alluring golden colour and a delightful subtle character. 

Expect toffee apple, citrus and freshly cut oak.  Gentle wood spices... ginger with vanilla leads to a light soft fruity finale.
