Douglas Laing's Old Particular Royal Brackla 15 Year Old Scotch Whisky

Douglas Laing and Co's Old Particular range of Scotch Whisky consist of unique bottlings of hand selected Single Cask Scotch Whisky, bottled without colouring or chill filtering and at higher ABV's, just as the distiller intended..

The Royal Brackla Distillery is found in the Highland scotch whisky region, and is owned by Bacardi. This bottling of Royal Brackla15 year old Scotch Whisky was distilled in May 2008 and matured in a single refill hogshead before bottling in December of 2023.

Notes from the bottler: "Nose: Creamy cereal with just a hint of spice, polished wood and apricot jam. Palate: Barley-rich with some nutmeg and brown sugar apparent alongside vanilla'd oak. Finish: Lingers with a citric tang plus buttery pastry and more of that earlier barley depth" (CSL).

The cask outturn was 269 bottles, and is bottled at 48.4% ABV.
