Douglas Laing's Old Particular Invergordon 19 Year Old  Single Grain Scotch Whisky

Douglas Laing and Co's Old Particular range of Scotch Whisky consist of unique bottlings of hand selected Single Cask Scotch Whisky, bottled without colouring or chill filtering and at higher ABV's, just as the distiller intended..

The Invergordon Grain Distillery is found in the Highland scotch whisky region, and is owned by Whyte & Mackay. This bottling of Invergordon 19 year old Scotch Whisky was distilled in October 2002 and matured in a single refill butt before bottling in August of 2022.

Notes from the bottler: "Nose: Sweet and (strangely) with a hint of Malt, it's big and beefy with late American cream soda. Palate: More in the archetypal grain style now with corn oils, vanilla fudge, plus crushed (and heated) sugar. Finish: Catch the butterscotch, its honeyed tones and more of the anticipated Bourbon and syrup style" (FHL).

The cask outturn was 684 bottles, and is bottled at 51.5% ABV.
