Glengoyne 12 Year Old 2011 Old Particular Scotch Whisky

The Old Particular range from Douglas Laing represent bottlings of 'particularly' highly sought after casks from across Scotland. Bottled with no-chill filtration or colour additions at higher ABV's.

From the Glengoyne Distillery comes this delectable malt Scotch Whisky from a single cask (cask ref DL17101). The unpeated Glengoyne spirit was distilled in 2011 and left in a single refill hogshead for more than 12 years, until Douglas Laing bottled it for their Old Particular series, with an outturn of 352 bottles. A wonderfully clean and fruity malt with a silky/buttery texture.

"Nose: Orange pith mingles with apple peel initially then comes rich barley style. Palate: Freshly baked buttered brioche gives way to lemon curd and honeycomb. Finish: Spiced oak moves to creamy cereal with dried apricots and fresh Malt." CSL
