A 30 year old single malt from the Glen Keith distillery in Scotland's Speyside region, bottled for the Xtra Old Particular range by Douglas Laing. The whisky was matured from July 1991 to September 2021 in a refill butt, then bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 427 bottles.
Official tasting note: The nose reveals an elegant dried apricot style running to maple syrup, milk chocolate and honey'd barley. The palate is thick and fulsome with home-baking, vanilla cream and a mocha depth. The finish lingers wonderfully...anticipate a spiced oak character with pineapple and peaches in syrup.
700mL. 50.8% VOL. From a cask of only 427 bottles.
