The Highland Clynelish distillery has long been considered among the 'top grade' of the Diageo owned distilleries, due to it's warm honey'ed character and rich waxy texture. 

This malt was distilled in September 2011 and matured for 10 years in a refill barrel.

Notes from the bottler: "Nose: Rich barley-based in style, gently spiced, with a hard fruit candy backdrop. Palate: Big, viscous and full bold cereal flavour plus marmalade on warm buttery toast. Finish: Still shows citrus, overtaken by sugar, plus later cedar wood and mixed spices." FHL
