Dalmunach 2015/8 year old Carn Mor Strictly Limited Scotch Whisky

The Carn Mor Strictly Limited range of Scotch Whisky from the Family-owned Independent Bottlers, Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, are a collection of Scotch whiskies from some of the finest distilleries in Scotland. What makes the whiskies so special is that all the whiskies are non-chill-filtered to keep all of the oils and proteins that give it that fantastic authentic and non-doctored flavour in the bottle. As real as it gets.

This 8 year-old scotch whisky was distilled in 2015 at the Speyside Dalmunach distillery. The whisky was fully matured in a single ex-oloroso sherry butt. Prior to bottling the whisky was proofed back to 47.5% ABV, with no chill-filtration or colour added. 1756 bottles were produced.

Simon's notes: A delightfully rounded 'sherry bomb' style scotch malt whisky, brimming with juicy raisins, orange peel and touches of chocolate and leather.
